Laser Gum Contouring (reshaping)

Some patients are concerned that they have too much gum showing when they smile or that their teeth are too short. This problem is commonly referred to as 'gummy smile' can be easily treated through gum reshaping or contouring.

The gum tissue is trimmed away using a special laser which also seals the blood vessels and so minimises bleeding.

Following the procedure the gum is left to heal and the results can be immediate. The results are usually permanent and relatively inexpensive.
